In the quiet world of Prim Dolls, every creation begins with a gentle breath — a moment of stillness, of deep observation, of love for the Earth. Today, I’d like to introduce one of the dearest characters to emerge from my studio: the handmade ornamental mushrooms, textile pieces born from the forest floor and stitched with care, inspired by the magic of the woods and the warmth of the Cottagecore aesthetic.
But first, the table of contents of this entry: remember it has its Spanish version clicking here.
~ A soft homage to the forest floor ~
Each mushroom is carefully handcrafted, one by one, with a slow and loving rhythm. I work with corduroy fabric, chosen for its velvety texture and nostalgic feel — soft like moss, warm like tree bark, and reminiscent of the vintage textiles we grew up with.
Every mushroom is hand-embroidered, patiently stitched, as if it were slowly growing from the fabric, much like mushrooms sprout in silence beneath the shade of trees. No two are alike. Some are rounder, others tall and whimsical — just as they appear in nature, unpredictable and beautifully imperfect.

~ Where Cottagecore and Nature meet ~
These pieces are deeply rooted in the spirit of Cottagecore, a world that celebrates the simple life, slow days, homemade meals, wildflowers in jars, and objects that feel like they belong in a storybook.
For me, Cottagecore is not a trend — it is a way of seeing, of feeling, of living. It’s a quiet reverence for the seasons, for handmade things, for moments that ask nothing but presence. These little mushrooms are a poetic reflection of that — meant to rest on a wooden shelf, decorate a child’s room, or simply sit gently on your favorite table, like a small piece of forest you’ve brought home.

~ More than decoration: a connection to the wild and the handmade ~
In a world that often moves too fast, making these mushrooms allows me to return to the pace I choose to live by — slower, more intentional, more in tune with the essentials. I know that many who choose Prim Dolls are also drawn to that same rhythm: one of tenderness, nostalgia, and mindfulness.
Each mushroom seems to have its own soul. Some are dreamy, others shy, others filled with silent joy. They are the quiet inhabitants of my studio — growing among spools of thread, soft fabrics and golden morning light.

Thank you for being here, for reading, and for supporting what’s made with time, hands, and heart.
